Recipe
GPT chocolate mousse
Airy dark chocolate mousse with whipped cream and egg whites. Five stars, no arguments.
- Yield
- 4 glasses
- Rest
- at least 2 hours in the fridge
Another LLM recipe, like the crêpes. Past me gave it five stars. I don't remember doing that, but I'm not going to argue.
Preparation
- Melt the chocolate. Break it into pieces and melt it gently over a double boiler (or in the microwave in 20-second bursts, stirring in between). Let it cool slightly.
- Whip the egg whites with a pinch of salt until soft peaks form. Add the sugar gradually and keep going until you get stiff peaks.
- Whip the cream with the vanilla until soft peaks form.
- Stir the yolks into the melted chocolate until smooth and glossy.
- Fold everything together. Cream into the chocolate first, then the egg whites in batches, folding gently to keep the air in.
- Chill. Spoon into glasses and refrigerate for at least 2 hours.
- Serve with shaved chocolate, cocoa powder or fresh berries.
Note: the eggs stay raw, so use fresh ones you trust.
